Polynesian Photo Archives (PPA)

The Polynesian Photo Archives is a partnership among the Feleti Barstow Public Library and the three American Samoa Government agencies that are primary depositories of historic images: the ASG Office of Archives and Records, the Jean P. Haydon Museum, and the American Samoa Historic Preservation Office. The project began in the year 2000 and was initially supported by funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. The primary goal of the project is to preserve and make accessible to the public existing historic images of American Samoa.

The homepage provides links to the different divisions within the department e.g. tourism, environment, statistics (see below). Each link provides a full text, in English, of the division's publications and research.
